MASSIVELY PARALLEL

It feels like there’re more and more reports of things turning nasty these days. Dave Winer of Scripting News reports an ugly case of Lawyers Gone Bad. As with the Derek & Heather mess at JPEG, the silver lining to all of this is some good advice:

If a deal is worth doing, it’s worth documenting with a good agreement.

Sounds about right to me. And, happily, this seems to have been ended with mediation rather than a suit. So congrats Dave, and hopefully this’ll all be behind you. Life’s too short to deal with this kind of nonsense when you could be building stuff.
